Yes my husband is great like this also, sends me texts telling me he loves me, makes dinner cuz he comes home from work before I do, and so on.

Though he leaves my kitchen a mess after dinner lol.

I think more women should make sure their husband's do their fair share in the marriage, vs doing all the cooking and cleaning and so on and having a husband who doesn't appreciate them- I know too many girls who do EVERYTHING and their husbands don't appreciate it. Then they try to tell my husband he's whipped- pft.

Mine does some of those things. The rest we are working on. ( chores, and more important ones.) Your husband sounds like a real gem. Do something really nice for him! You got yourself a real man, there!!

Yes that is very normal..That is what a husband has to do and you know what I hope you are doing the same for him because the relationship is about both so all these good things should also be done to him!!

3) hugs and kisses you everyday and tell you he loves you. yes, but it's a gruff sort of way, not lovey dovey.

He's gruff. He tries his best to be sensitive, but it's like asking a Harley Davidson biker to paint his toenails pink. He might do it for his daughter, but he'd put up a fuss.

To tell you the truth my husband is a good man..,. he is a good provider, works hard, and he's a good dad but I don't think he loves me the way he used to anymore.

Your husband is past normal.. He is probably the best man u will run across in this life time.... Most women will run over a guy like this because his kindness will show a weakness to some women, YOU HAVE A GOODMAN and if you haven't already THANK HIM....

mine, married for 5 years:
1) Nope, not at all, lucky if I get one on Vday and our anniversary
2) Yes, he helps with the chores- the kids, well, sometimes
3) Often enough but not everyday
4) Nope, never. I don't trust him with MacnCheese.
5) NOPE! Treats me like a sister sometimes, esp around his family
6) Yes, at night when we watch movies together
7) Nope, he sleeps in every weekend too while I wake up and care for the kids
8) Says TY for dinner but doesn't compliment
9) I take HIM on vacations and he goes with and acts like Im torturing him..

wow, looks pretty bad doesn't it. If yours is opposite of mine, I say grab on to him and don't let go and try to reciprocate all the favors listed above.

My guy does the following:
2 (Only he does all the yard work, maintenance on the cars, and is VERY handy. He can fix anything. I do the inside stuff)

I was also blessed with a caring, good husband. He does all of the above except take me on vacations, since we are broke, thats ok.

Just last weekend we had 3 days at home together. It was wonderful.

It's nice to be loved, and wonderful to love.
