Traveling with Ex

I have been in a 9 month relationship with a man who was divorced over a year ago. He has a teenage daughter from prior relationship that is graduating high school in few months. His ex wife wants to ride with him on a road trip to the daughters graduation. The road trip would be 16+ hours down and 16+ hours back. The ex has a back problem and also a teenage daughter who could also drive. I'm ok with her following him down or even if he bought her a plane ticket to go but I'm just not ok with them spending all that time together in a vehicle as a family. Am I being too difficult? I trust him but I feel that if he does this with her it will confuse everyone involved. I need input... help.
