My parents are still married, they met each other when they were in their 30... were engaged after 3 days of knowing each other, and married after 3months.... have been married for over 30 years... And they are still sickly romantic...

However, they both had previous divorces.

Although my parents separated 11 years ago, when I was 12 & my sister was 9, they still to this day remain best friends.

They always did everything as parents should, eg, both attend parents evening & anything to do with our education & still do.

They are the best parents in the world & the way we saw it, we got excellent parents who were & still are, always there for us but without all the arguments! :-)

My parents celebrate their 40th (Ruby) wedding anniversary tomorrow. I'm still married to my husband & will celebrate our 14th anniversary later this year so my kids still have both their parents together.
