Yes you can... If your parents are divorced than which ever parent has legal custody of you can sign for you... But if your parents are still married than you will need both parents signatures... |

Yes you can join the Army and Air Force in the DEP with your parents consent. You would have to sign up in the second semester if you want to go active in like May or June. If you want to be in the reserves or the Guard then you can sign up earlier like in the first semester or the earlier months. If you want to join the Navy or the Marines then you have to wait until your senior year to sign up with parental consent if you are 17. If you are turning 18 early on in your senior year oh high school then you don't need your parents permission and can sign up on your own. Good Luck! And thank you for your future service! :) |

If you are finishing highschool at age 16, then yes you can join at age 17. But my big question is:
Why the rush? That one year is another year of maturing for your brain and body, and you'd have to do two years of highschool in one year in order to do that. |

im 16 and going to be a senior in h.s. im going to sign up for the army on november first. the day after my birthday. i would sign up on oct 31 but its a sunday and there closed.
i also was going to sign up about 3 months ago thinking i can with my parents. but i still had to wait till 17. |

Im 17 and in the Army Reserve, im a incoming Junior, I was a sophmore last year, its a program called split op, National guard has the same program,
After Thought- You cant get deployed in High School, and you do you Basic Training Next summer and you get paid and go to drill once a month |

what about if ur parents are divorced u live in the US with ur mom and ur stepdad and my biological dad lives in another country who has to sign the consent(i know for sure my mom but which dad?) i need help :( |
