When I was in the Army, we had a choice, once a month or twice a month, we could get our checks mailed to us or direct deposit. Now I think it has to be all direct deposit but I'm not positivee.

The base pay is what you see on the pay charts that divide by what rank a person maybe; but there are many other things that can effect the pay. Some of the things are: 1) Combat Zone or not, 2) special training like flight school, 3) are you married, 4) are you living on base or not?? Then you will have to take out the correct taxes for State and Federal.

You would get paid on the 15th and 30rd of every month, except for Feb. which you get paid on the 28th. If you are in the Guards or Reserves, pay is done once a month.

You still have a bank account like you would have out in the common world. You can have allotments taken from you pay to pay bills or sent some home or to family.

twice a month, the pay chart is per month, you get half that twice a month

I use the bank USAA so my husband and I get paid the 31st and the 14th. Unless there is a holiday or a weekend then we get paid a few days before then. Usually we get paid the 1st and the 15th of every month. My husband is currently deployed and we put our money into our savings account and let it bank. We only have 2 months left so you can imagine how much has built up!

1st and the 15th. If you are deployed, your pay is direct deposited.

In the chart, they are giving the monthly pay rate, which will be split between the first and fifteenth of every month.

Funny answer by gentle giant 2.

That chart shows your monthly pay but the military pays twice a month. You get half around the 15th and the rest on the 30th.
