No jail time, at worst some community service. As long as nothing was damaged, In which case you'll have to pay for all of the damages. This will, how ever go on your criminal recorded and will show up on any background checks done on you, so certain company's may choose not to higher you over that fact.

Really? Your smart enough to look into the laws that would effect you if you did something like that so you have to be smart enough to know that it's not right. Those memorials were built to honor people who fought and died for what they believed in. You have to have someone in your family that died in a war somewhere back in your familys history. Please don't deface a veterans memorial. If you have to soap a window, write on a piece of cardboard what you need to say to vent some aggression. Even if it's for fun don't do it.
What if by chance the world was thrown into an all out war and you, even if you were not in the military were the hero that stopped all the violence and they built a memorial to you. Would you want your grandchildren to see it defaced. If anything weedeat around it, clean it up, or ignore it all together. I never served in a war, but I respect the ones who did and so should you.

Did I waste over 10 years of my life serving in the military so anyone could deface vets' monuments and cemeteries with only a token fine? But then again we do live in a free society of expression. If you think it is worth $500 and a black mark on your criminal record just to insult veterans then go for it. As much as I may dislike the KKK and other racist groups, I would rather spend $500 on a milion other things than risk getting fined or worse.

If you hate us so much then find something else to do with your time. Especially since you would probably get jumped or worse by pro-military people who would catch you. Also, there is no draft. As long as we continue to volunteer you don't have to worry about getting drafted, so there is one thing to thank us for if nothing else. Besides, I'm pretty sure you're just trolling.
