According to the Urban Dictionary, there are four definitions...
1) Saying f*** when you probably shouldn't.
2) Leaving a fart in the elevator just before exiting. That way the next person that gets into the elevator get's a surprise.
3) A hefty fart that would put the Manhattan project to shame. Normally brewed and developed to enrich its delivery.
4) To reformat your hard-drive, thus dropping the F-Bomb 'nuking' all software on said drive. |

It's not an actual bomb. It's when someone says the F word.
It's the same when people say dropping an album- it means to release an album, it doesn't mean to actually drop it on the floor.

Hi Cierra.
It is a slang word for when someone says the "F" word in an inappropriate place and time.
Also, it refers to a person who "farts" in an area like an elevator and people enter and smell the aroma. "Somebody dropped an F-bomb in here!"
There is also a computer reference when the hard drive has to be reformatted and all data is wiped out. This the format bomb!
