There are millions of us, that would like to know where He is.,Bill Clinton, had a chance to get him ,he didn't. Had he captured him Look at the lives that could have been saved. I am sure MR Clinton has often regretted that one. But to be fair, he, had no way of seeing into the future. Some think he is in Pakistan now. But ,others think he other places. I just know ,he will pay for all the evil he has brought into this world. He may escape men.
But he will not escape God. |

You go to a country the size of Texas and try to find one man in a bunch of mountains and tunnels. It would be hard enough to find one man in a little town but a huge country with that type of terrain its not that easy. Someday someone will give a soldier the right hint as to where he is and we will get him. |

We haven't caught him for the same reason we haven't caught major drug dealers in the U.S. and the Caribbean. We monitor his movements, we analyze where weapons shipment are going to and coming from. Once the opportunity presents itself we quietly take out a large fish unknown to most of the World and utilize these captured weapons for covert operations in countries where we do not want to show an American presence. And we continue to gain further intelligence from this. |

bad luck but not everything is bad you know.

He's dead as a doornail...The persistent rumor that he's alive is a conspiracy theory perpetuated by liberals to scare children and have something to blame Republicans for... |

He is not hiding; he is residing in a tribal area in Pakistan which is loyal to his cause. Most Pakistanis in those tribal regions lack a proper education and will follow religious teachings or who ever pay the most. It is a combination of religion and corruption which prevents us from grabbing him. Our country will not go into Pakistan with a task force to snag him because of the political fallout. Why didn’t we grab him when we had the chance in the mountains of Afghanistan? The cost is too high, not so much in dollars but political fall out and along with other national interest which are higher on the pedestal, it could cost our nation and other western countries more problems in the long run. |

First of all you can bet money that there are lots of resources being used to find him, satellites, drones with hellfire missiles and if he's spotted they will take him out,no questions asked. |

Because if that heppened the Bush administration couldn't use him to drive fear into the hearts of the American people, and use that fear for their own twisted means.
That fear was the only reason Bush was re-elected and was what enable him to lie the US into a war with Iraq. |

Bin Laden is --supposedly hiding in the KUSH MOUNTAIN range along the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan in a tribal region that is friendly to him and supports him.
This is equivalent to hiding in the ROCKIES MOUNTAINS if they stretched the width from DC to DENVER with Friendly villages and tribal leaders. Plus there is little communications to the outside world. If you see him--you can't just send text to the authorities--you have to hike to the nearest village with a phone and call out. Anybody moving through that is area with money or sophisticated communications equipment is easily discovered because they are not LOCALS.
Plus Pakistan is in a very delicate situation. They can't be seen to be a lapdog to the USA by the religious groups that are anti-American. So the USA can not use all it's assets openly and must rely on covert assets and help from the PAKISTANI Military intelligence.--Which is largely believed to have sympathic leanings to the Taliban. Which it supported during the 1990s. |

How do you find one evil snake in a mountain range full of snakes? If he is still in the range we think he is in. It is a big world. |

Have you seen where he is hiding? First of all it's in Pakistan which is an ally and we aren't going to invade their country without their permission which we don't have. Secondly, its up in the mountains and it would be VERY costly in our soldiers lives for them to find him. He's holed up in a cave and is pretty much impotent. |

I don't think it is for lack of trying...
If you look at a map of Afganistan the whole middle is nothing but mountains and scrubland...
And with the pretty much open boarder with Pakastan he can be under any rock within a thousand miles!!
If you realize how many caves and how little infrastructure there is out there then you can't be surpised that he hasn't been found...
I mean...Look at that guy that hid out in the mountains in the US for something like 5 or 7 years with police activly searching for him...
That was in the us!!!
If a wilderness wise guy can hide out from the cops for that long HERE I am totally not shocked that Bin Laden is still at large... |

because he's hiding in a tribal area of western pakistan that is VERY hostile to America and western countries. They love and support him there. Even the Pakistani Army is afraid to go there! And we don't have permission from President Musharraf to send troops there ourselves looking for him. |

My understanding from news reports was that Ben Laden was in one of the caves or caverns blown up by the military. Thinking he was gone for good, the military moved on to other activities. There may have been interlinking passageways between caves to other openings that were still available to exit.
We do have the technology, but being able to use the technology comes with a new set of rules, like finding Ben Laden in the first place. Of course, if Ben Laden had a GPS sensor, we could find him, but how would you propose we locate him to insert the GPS sensor? Even in the US, people who do not want to be found can be difficult to trace. Consider the territory where Ben Laden calls home and remember that his countrymen may protect him. Especially if they know where he is, they may confuse the search efforts. Try finding a lost dog, even minutes after he got loose. It is more difficult than it may seem. A dog can run fast and smell the way to something meaningful to it. Pets can find their way home from great distances. A human wanting to avoid capture can remain lost for a very long time. Remember Dr. Kimble in the movies?
Ben Laden has friends in the right places, he is in his country and another country is looking for him. People should have listened to the congressional hearings about Ben Laden in the 70s.
It seems to me that Ben Laden's son had more to do with the actual planning of the towers. Why not locate him? Why is he not in custody? Or did I miss that news report?
Consider that our free TV taught these people how to bring down buildings and other things. The free TV also tells and shows where our most dangerous places are that could be bombed if it was possible to gain entry. One strategically placed bomb could spread nuclear waste all over the country. As well guarded as the place is, don't you think a terrist would use our own information to hurt us? |
