Have you ever drivin under the influence of booze or any drug?
Im sorry to say i have,and ive been arrested for mid range .08 to .095. 4 times .youd think i would have learned by now,and im pretty sure i have.On all occasions i truly believed i could easily drive because im a pretty large guy and i didnt feel the slightest bit affected.I was by myself and it was usually a few hours after my last drink or the next day.Iknow there is no excuse for it and theres no point in telling the judge any excuse as they have heard them all before.I have always had the minimum ban handed down to me and a small fine.Do you think the judges are being very lenient on me or do you think they know alcohol affects bigger people less?

Your relative body size makes not difference because it already factors that in. BAC stands for Blood/Alcohol Concentration. It means that if you were a smaller person, drining the same amount, the BAC would have been higher.
Plus, if the BAC was still over .08 a few hours AFTER your last drink, then it was MUCH higher a couple of hours earlier.
And, the fact that YOU didn't "feel the slightest bit affected" is NOT a good indicator of how drunk you were. One of the things alcohol consumption affects is one's judgement. In other words, YOU should be the LAST judge of how drunk you were.
And, finally, what difference does it make whether or not someone was riding with you? If you slam into another car, or a pedestrian, the number of people in YOUR car makes no difference at all in the result.
I think, either the judges HAVE been lenient on a multiple conviction drunk driver, or they are as ignorant of what DUI means as you are. |

I think the judges have read your file, and decided you deserve a chance!
I have been charged 7 times for dui, even went to jail for it, and I finally discovered there is only 1 answer, Abstinence.
I'm a professional driver who has to have zero alcohol, so I just don't drink at all.
Its decision time, stop drinking or hand in your licence! |

I have when I was younger. Got pulled over 2 times when I was defiantly wasted and somehow talked them into letting me go. These days I don't drink very much. I've had maybe 15 beers total in the last 6 months. |
