What do people have against using their turn signals..??

Patrick W	They are lazy and ingnorant to others driving around them, and using such a necessary and simple device can make all of us focused drivers get to our destinations and not have to anticipate their next move to avoid hitting them or wasting everyone's time.

HyperGforce	These people have no common sence and are showing everyone there poor driving skill.The turn signal is such a important part of safe driving to not use them is CRAZY.

PS	I know that some people don't use them on purpose. They don't wannt to let you know what their intention is. They want to be in complete control of the situation and not allow you any benefit of knowing vital pieces of information. These people are hateful and would prefer that you weren't there or perhaps even dead. Lay on your horn when people don't signal. It's the right thing to do, and it may make the roads safer in the long run.

Lover not a Fighter	People don't have anything AGAINST using the turn signals. People just forget to use them (note the difference between forget and against). Basically they are bad drivers. Period. But don't get high and mighty. One of these days you will forget to use use turn signal or something. From the other drivers point of view, it probably seem like you have something AGAINST using turn signal. Be more forgiving.

msfgabe	Very frustrating and it happens well to often. Some people just don't care to follow the law and have common courtesy . Negligence and irresponsibility is most often why accidents happen.

ricrossfireclub	I think that in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, they are optional equipment, that would be an indication of why they are not being used :( the finger is used quite often instead. There is also a curious thing that occurs here as well, people running red lights, not yielding right of way and not stopping at stop signs. Poor driving habits are prevalent here and my theory is this, people do it all the time, kids in the car see it and think that's how you are supposed to drive and end up doing the same. And so it goes, the child does as the parent, monkey see-monkey do!

Troopers_Mom	Most people are in too much of a hurry and are not paying attention. They are too busy on the cell phone, putting on makeup or yelling at someone in the care to realize they are changing lanes an just do it.. I think they now think they are an option itme in the cars and did not order them so why use them.... lol

Paul	Since I started driving slower and leaving at least 4 or 5 car lengths gap between my car and others, I have discovered that in almost ALL situations, it doesn't matter if anyone signals or if they don't. There are no more close calls or emergency tactics required to avoid accidents. Personally, I don't signal when there is no one close enough to be affected, or when signaling causes another driver to speed up to try and block my turn or lane change.
