I currently live in UK, thinking about transferring to a job in US that requires USA Cit. Is there a quick way to do this?

Check the rules on US citizenship, a lot of jobs are actually US citizenship or that of a trusted miltitary/security nation eg a member of NATO which the UK is..
So go check on the full rules,
otherwise its 5 years after green card, assuming you get that. |

there is no benefit scheme here AT ALL should you fall on hard times..

there is NO quick way mate.
I am a brit married to a US citizen and have only JUST become able to apply for citizenship.
Green cards also pretty hard to get unless you fall into one of the categories [which MOST of the time brits do not]
If you already work for the firm can they not allow you to transfer and if they do MAKE sure you get FULL medical paid for by them. |

The general rule of thumb is, after you get your green card, five years. It can be shortened, by marrying a citizen, or serving in the US armed forces, but at most, it'll cut two years off the time. |
