I am a South African (18 years old) looking to join my boyfriend in the UK.He is South African, but also has a British Passport.He is currently working in England. We have been together for 3 years, and I can prove that we have lived together for 2 years. I need to know how I go about applying~documentation needed, the related costs, and where to go to apply, etc. If somebody could help me out with some guidelines, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanx

If you are looking for a spousal visa or entering as a partner of a UK citizen who has been together for at least 2 years you are too young. The minimum age is 21, not 18. Regardless if you can prove the two of you have been together for the last two years you will have to wait until you are 21 before you can enter the UK as a partner of a British Citizen or apply for a spousal visa. |

This page says exactly what you need to prove that you are eligible. Right now you are NOT eligible.

You are NOT yet 21.
But it also says this - which will cut down your qualification time when you do turn 21.
