It all depends on your plans. You need to be able to satisfy Immigration that you intend to return before your visa expires. You may be asked about where you are planning to stay, what you expect to do while you are here, etc. They will also consider factors that would make it likely you would return to Pakistan, for example if you have family commitments back home, a job or business, studies, etc. They will be particularly keen to know that you will not be thinking of working while here, staying on illegally after the visa expires, or trying to switch to another type of visa (not possible). Above all, your application must be credible: Why do you want to visit UK? - to visit XYZ relatives; When do you expect to return? - on ABC date because then I am starting Uni/job/getting married etc.
£8,000+ should be more than enough, but it is far from the only factor. Good luck. |

A visit Visa usually lasts for 6 months and you have to have sufficient funds to support yourself whilst you are here, so I should imagine that would be enough. |

how long are you planning to visit for? you dont give any details about your visit.
i really hope you are legitimate and are not going to stay here illegally - we are just about fed up with it here in the UK, and you will not be looked upon favourably |

It depends on weather you are planning on just coming for a holiday or if you are planning to stay.
I know you have said 'UK visit visa' but come on, how many times have we all heard that before only to then find they disappear never to be seen again and before we know it we are another council house down with a family of 20+ living in it, all claiming benefits...and so on and so on
