NATALIE W	It depends on which country you are in. In the UK you cannot change visas within the UK you have to go back to your home country and apply for the new visa.

Ozmaniac	Where is 'here'? If 'here' is Australia, he can apply for a Partner visa provided he meets all of the requirements for one. He will be granted a Bridging visa that will allow him to stay until a decision is reached on his visa application.

lilmisssunshine	No you're not allowed to do that. it's called visa fraud.
