I was wondering if a student studying in Canada for 4 years could apply for naturalization since the minimum time needed for this process is 3 years?
Or do people with study immigration not count?

After you finish your course of study, you can apply for immigrant. Your time while in Canada as a student will be counted as half time, so if you studied for 4 years you get credit for 2 years for naturalization purposes |

Hi Nella,
I did a bit of investiation in this for myself and you cant apply for naturalisation as you are not a landed immigrant HOWEVER you can after you have finished studying qualify for a special expidited PNP based on the fact that you have studied there you also get more points towards your PR application.
