Why do illegal immigrants do it?

Ya heard me	Because they are moochers. They realize their own country is a slum way before they start spouting out children by the numbers. They lack some common sense. The ones that come illegally would never be accepted as legal immigrants because they have nothing to offer. They jump on welfare and mooch off tax payers the minute they get here. They crowd hospitals and schools and it is the actual tax paying citizens that suffer the consequences. Some people that rob are just looking for a better life too, does that make it ok for them to steal....NO!

mike smith	well i have entered the us two times and i am only 20 years old,i am mexican from jalisco,we come to the us because we can,jejeje its just pretty easy!last time i came,i just drove my car through the international bridge in laredo and the inmigration officer asked me if i was an american citizen,i just said yes sr i am.he asked me for my drivers license so i showed him my drivers license from michigan wich is about to be expired and i wont be able to renew cuz i aint got social,jejejeje

Ashy	why don't you give it a try? go to a third world country for, say, 1 year and then see how life there is? live like the locals do there. try to fit yourself in a middle-class or lower-middle class lifestyle, work your a$s off to earn peanuts and get no government benefits. deal with corruption everywhere (which is more in underdeveloped countries due to the vastness of "poverty"). also, isn't the concept of "countries" man made? why should there be boundaries at all? back in the days there was no countries, no governments. there was just the earth and the mankind.

ibu guru	Totally irrelevant. They violated the law. Zero tolerance for immigration-law violators. They must depart or be deported. Asking "why" is just begging for excuses. There are no excuses. No one is above the law, and anyone who disrespects one of the most valuable principles of justice in this country should never be allowed to remain. To violate such a principle can only lead to injustice.

tclamartina	Because of the overall instability of their own countries as well as our large middle class, which is far more wealthy than those in Central America, they have the misconception that everybody in America has a lot of money and that it is easy to become rich.

Maggie	It's really hard to get into the US. In Mexico right now, it's difficult to find jobs, especially if you have any kind of handicap. (old, ugly, crippled ect.) Many people try to go to america to get a better life. Immigration only lets in a certain number of people a year, so many people have no choice but to enter illegally if they want to get into the country within the next 7 years or however long they are on the waiting list for. It's a bit more complicated than what I explained, but that's essentially what happens. Google Illegal immigration and you'll figure out a lot more.

JJ	because, well, i wouldnt know for shur, im an American boy,m born and raised.... ....but i would think that their own country is in such turmoil and/or poverty that going somewhere else is the only other option. plus, coming legally takes time that some people cant afford to use. i.e, rigorous testings and such at the border.. and, ever since her conception as a new land, the US has been seen as a land of oppurtunity. so uh, die? or oppurtunity? XD

pure_love	because they want a better life!!! its the american dream isn't it? I would do anything for my children to have a better future, even if i would break any bogus immigration law for them. plus, if it weren't for my parents breaking this law, i would be here and have these opportunites.

ramonatalks	Because they want a better life for themselves and their children. It's really really hard to get here legally you know like REALLY REALLY hard! We're granted certain inalienable rights these are: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Don't immigrants have the same inalienable rights because it seems like Americans try as hard as they can to take them away. Now, is that right? I think not.
