I am a british citizen and i want to bring my wife to live with me. I am working and I have a proper income but my april bank statement shows no income but there is no overdraft, would that affect my wife application when she submit my 6 months bank statement with the form?

what matters is that you show that you can support you wife and yourself without recourse to public funds.
So a missing month of income in itself is not a issue
but a missing last month would do well with a comment/line of explaination in your covering letter, as to why it is not now an new continuous status of no income.
that said, if you have other proof of funds that would support you (savings that you can spend for the next 2-3 years) then clearly income as such is not as significant. They look at the big picture.. not specific detail, hence the picture of your management of income/outgoings for 6 months. |
