A friend of mine borrow my car on December for half a day and 2 days ago I got a $180 fine with picture from red light camera! I feel very upset not for the fine but because it could goes in my records!!!

Whether or not the red light camera citation goes against your records or insurance depends in what State you live.
North Carolina treats a red light camera offense as a civil penalty. It does NOT go on your records.
California treats a red light camera offense as a criminal misdeamor. It does go on your records.
You can file an affadavit swearing that you were not the driver of the car. If you do so, the penalty does not go against you. But you must nark on your friend at the same time. |

No it does not because the ticket is referenced by the plate number of the vehicle, not the driver's license number. Since the governing body cannot prove who the driver is they can't apply it against the driver's license. This is the reason why they send it to the plate owner. |

Yes, just like getting a ticket...only difference is, it does go against the registered owner of the vehicle and not the driver |
