Driver License?

I am moving from Texas to Tennessee. My driver license is not suspended or anything in Texas, but i do have a lot of tickets and such, no insurance mostly, maybe 2 moving violations and 6 others. i imagine they are all in warrant status, about 3 yrs old. i never paid them cause i never had the money.

how will this effect my ability to get a Driver License in Tennessee? Perhaps i should say i dont have a driver license anywhere..?

WindyGale	I hope you don't get stop by the police before you get your new license. You may have a warrant for your arrest for failure to pay your tickets. I live in Texas and I know people who get stop for something else and end up going to jail for unpaid tickets. It would have been cheaper to just pay the ticket(s).

jeff i	i don't think that tennessee does a background thing on a change of state dl licenses , but if u lie and say u don't have a dl and get cought u will be with out any licsense 4 a while and may do some time ??

ncgirl	yes it will, they have a database on all that stuff I believe. My husbands uncle tried that and it didn't work.
