People have told me that you don't need insurance on historic cars. You can just get historic plates and liability or somthing like that. My friend Justin who is 20 has a 69 Nova and only pays 223 bucks a month on some kind of payment but he does not have insurance on it and he still is allowed to drive it but only on the weekends and hokidays ( he has historic plates) How does this work? How do historic plates work? I want an elcamino or a ranchero please help!!!!

Nope. You have to have insurance to drive a car most everywhere. There are special historical license plates you can get that last longer then regular plates, but they have restrictions on how much you can drive them. Also, there are companies that have special insurance for historical vehicles, but it's still insurance... |
