I am in KS with full coverage plus more, but I don't want this to go on my insurance. He is also covered in KS. So does his insurance cover the repairs or will mine have to?

The insurance follows the vehicle, not the driver.
So your insurance would be the one paying for the repairs (so long as the driver meets the conditions of your policy and is covered) |

i'm in australia.
in basic terms, over here, your insurance policy covers your car, not the person driving.
ie, if you borrowed someone else's car and crashed it, their insurance policy would pick up the damages, not yours.
so basically, you let someone else drive your car with your permission. your insurance policy would likely respond to that (unless the other person is excluded for some reason). i doubt very much his insurance would cover your property. |
