hey guys.
im in a situation where my dad has a e class kompressor mercedes.
he loves his mercedes- comfort wise the power etc.
his currently paying £350 due to having 20years+ no claims.

recently i've passed my driving test & ready to put his 20years claims down the drain -playing-
so i will be buying a 1litre to 1.2litre car - however since his using his no claims with the mercedes is there anyway he can use it for both.
making him the first drivier of mines putting me as second &&
using his 'no claims' making my insurance instantly half from
£3000 to £1500.
is there any insurance companies that do this as a package of some sort.
two insurances. one his name, another his name then my name both using his no claims.
your time & answers are much appreciated, thank you.

Impossible - simple as that. It is a no claim for one car.
Do you really think you are the first to think of this?
You cannot be the named driver if you are really the main driver. That is known as fronting and is fraud. No need to take my word for it - have a look at the BBC link below.
They are well on to people fronting now and have been for sometime and you will easily be caught. police check this very carefully and stop yunger drivers a lot. |

You would be far better off shopping around for your own insurance,as a lot of companies will do what is a called an introductory no claims discount which can then be built on in subsequent years,and giving you your very own no claims bonus rather than expect your dad to risk his |

You are the main driver, so you have to be the main driver and your dad as named driver.

I hate to disabuse you, but the scam of pretending it is his car while you are in fact the principal user is well known to the insurance companies. It is known as "fronting" and is a form of fraud. |

Most insurers only allow your no claims to be used on one car. you could try speaking to a broker who may know of some special insurance policy allowing both. |
