in a month i will have my licence. I am unsure what kind of car i want. I like SUV because i feel safer in them. Then i started looking at hatchback since they are like a Sedan but a bit bigger and cheaper then a SUV. Now i'm thinking maybe a sedan since they are cheap and some people claim they are safer then some hatchbacks. I mostly looking at used since i am trying to stay under $15000. The SUV that i like are the Honda CRV and toyota RAV4. I would get a compact SUV so i could see better. For hatchbacks i've been looking at Honda Fit or Nissan Versa. I haven't looked at much Sedan. Safety is a big priority for me. So which one is the right one for me?

I bought a Buick Century 4 door. I a nice post between two doors for side impact. The Century pulls down over 30 mpg on the highway and is a grampa car. The good news is the safety rating and you can get them cheaper because they are seen as a senior citizen car. I would not put my daughter in a small or compact car as a beginning driver. Once they get more proficient then it might be a consideration. Play it safe and don't bend to your kid wanting to be cool. My friend bought his daughter a Geo Storm and both sisters ended up in critical condition. |
