I'm 18 and i can't even drive yet. So i wont be having any form of ID any time soon. So where can i get my ID? Just to show that im 18. And so i can but things without my mother having to buy them. Like even movies i can't buy because i don't have any form of ID. The ones that require one at least. So where can i get my ID and do i need anything? Like birth certificate or something? sensible_man	Normally, the only "recognized" ID is a States issued one. These are obtained at most DMV offices. You will need a birth certificate and SS card.

Pupp	You can apply for a provisional licence, which can be used for ID. Or you can get a passport, which is good ID. Student ID is valid ID. For passport you will need your birth certificate, photos and someone to sign your photos, i.e. teacher.
