Hi ,
Great answer !
Im not directly shure, but most if not all countrys require an international drivers lic that I am aware of. You can best find this out by going down to an drivers licence office and ask them as well ask them if they test for such international licences. I had one for West Germany when i was stationed their. Most of the rules are the same except for signs and some aditional laws we may not have here.
Contact the american embasy in Australia located in Los Angelous, Calif. under directory of embasyies for this country or call information and tell them you need the Australia Embasy 1-800 # They will be glad to asist you and may need your phone # to call you back as some embasy's will take your message 1st and then call you back.
Good luck, God bless you & wish you an safe and wonderfull trip. |

I'm pretty sure you do. Call/look up AAA for more info on international drivers licenses--they have all the answers on how to get one, even if you aren't a member. |
