car can the insurance company are charge me Â£311 more the insurance company has calculated the extra Â£311 by calculating both vehicles on my 21 year old son as he is the youngest driver in the household & isnt insured to drive the 2nd vehicle & neither am i, my son is a named driver on my policy,i have been driving for 20+yrs with no claims +my son for 3+yrs with no claims,

Steve_in_SA	Here in Australia you insure each car individually. If you have 4 cars registered to your address it doesn't matter. You simply insure each car as a single unit the other cars don't influence the premium cost. I wonder which system is cheaper?

TheOne	In the USA, if the two cars are registered to that address, then it is assumed everyone of a legal age drives the cars. Peace.
