I have had a couple charges on my criminal record but pleaded continuation without a finding.?

Does this mean i have a criminal record or will the charges not show up on a criminal background check for example if i wanted to buy a firearm would this not let me. I live in mass but currently moving to vermont. so from youre answer would a nics for a firearm purchase be ok then even though i do have a record but no convictions.

leslie S	You have a record, you do not have a conviction. Usually work forms ask about convictions. Gun laws in all states I know of do not count arrests, only convictions.
