Ladder accident&fractured wrist, please help?

My boyfriend was working in Louisiana to work a week, he's in construction. Hes from Houston, So another employee pulled his ankle and the ladder making him fall and lose conciousness&fracture his wrist too. So when he woke up he called the police and they came and made a report and kept asking of he wanted him arrested. The other guy has no papers and is illegal so my boyfriend decided not to get him arrested,but now he changed his mind and wants to get him arrested, is their anything the police can do if the report was made in Louisiana? How can he get the guy arrested?? Please help any advice needed

defiantly_decadent	With no papers all they would do is deport him and a week later they would be back. Or you have to go back to Louisiana to file the complaint and then show up for the hearing and there may be more than one hearing. But once out of prison they would be gone forever. Because they don't have any documents unless they get busted again an they got them by fingerprints You won't be able to get restitution because of no documents they are running below the radar. your only hope would be to force them to become a documented alien then you can get a piece of what he makes in the USA

CONTROL FREAK	call the officer who made the report and he can work with other states that the guy may be in and have him arrested and extradited back to Louisiana. for trial ( if there is one ) and your boyfriend would need to go back to Louisiana as a witness in the case.
