FreeSpirit	There are so many questions ... how can they knowingly drive around in a car that has their child's dna even if they only hired the car 25 days after madeleine's disappearance - as a parent that would freak me out. They are now keeping the car in a "secret location" to do their own investigations. Why did Mrs McCann wash the stuffed toy she carries around with her - I would have wanted to keep the smell of my daughter as a way of holding onto her. It will be interesting to see the developments of the forensic investigation inside the church to which they were given a key to ... I sincerely hope for their sake they have nothing to do with it because they will be the most hated people in britain if they did and Kate doesn't appear to have the strength to take the abuse she'll receive in jail

graeme123s	You obviously believe the parents are guilty. So far there has been very little evidence to suggest that the family are involved. I've read the reports in the press that have been sensationalised. If the police really believed the parents killed Madeline, it's very unlikely they would have agreed to the parents leaving the country. What would be the point only to have them back a few days later to charge them? The 'evidence' that has appeared in the press recently (the smell of death etc) has been quickly played down by the police. People are putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5.

Curious	This is my thoughts too......It's possible the McCanns did something dreadful, even if accidental, and confided in someone else, who decided to help them out. I notice Gerry never says, "We have never harmed Madeleine, intentionally or unintentionally", he only ever says, "We had nothing to do with the disappearance of Madeleine"........of course this could be true, if their friends took her. What if, Madeleine is safely with someone in Portugal, with the parents consent and the parents are doing all this just to get the money???.........
