Who would I call to make sure no charges have been pressed against someone by me? The police never asked me.?

My boyfriend and I got into a fight last night, I ran to a friends house. He was standing on the ground and I was on the porch...As she was opening the door he pulled my purse down causing me to fall backwards off the porch. She called the police, they came by... took a report of what happened and left. My boyfriend came back to the house to talk things out...he was completely calmed and ready to resolve or leave, and needed help with what stuff was his and what stuff wasn't, and she called the cops on him again and kept me in the house. He did resist arrest, but also has attempted robbery for pulling my purse cause me to fall, and domestic abuse charges against him. They never asked me if I wanted to press any charges or not so i don't know what's going on with that. I know by now the state has control over the case, yet who would I call to make sure that no charges were pressed by me in forgetting to ask me what I wanted to do with the situation.

camero	in my area Ive been told you can call the jail and ask what are the charges against someone and they will tell you the charges and the bail amount. then the DA can still drop some of the charges (or not prosecute certain ones) if they are weak. you could find out the case number and write DA a letter saying you are'nt williing to give testimony on robbery or domestic charges from your point of view he didnt do that stuff and the police didnt see it so its just the word of your bitter disgruntled bff. Then those charges become weak. I think. they got him on resisting arrest though. and you cant stop the domestic charges if thats what they responded to and they were told that he touched you in that way by you. You cant take back what you said that night.
