my daughter told me that her father has been doing nasty things to her. we reported it to the sheriff and now there is an investigation. i don't know if the father knows yet, but i have just informed that he, all of a sudden, has moved. he is ordered, by the court, to inform me 40 days in advance of any moves. if the police go to his home, and realize that he has left, will there be a warrent out for his arrest?

good question if you have the money get a lawyer or contact a social worker its very suspicious that he moved if he is not guilty do not let him have any visites with your child there should be someone you trust with him and your daughter at all times also make sure no one is coaxing your child to say things that are not true this would be terrible for your child and for the accused get a therapist for you and your child because this is serious business good luck lorie ps good for you for acting and listening to you child and believing her it shows you are a responsable and a good mother that is doing her job and that is to love and protect her child at all cost. |

I think you should make sure that the court has a contempt hearing! Don't wait for someone else as it won't get done.
If there is something that happened to your daughter and he is charged and the warrant goes before the grand jury and is found, he could be listed as a fugitive! |

just in case the police dont go to his house soon, maybe you should report his move to the court that ordered him to keep you informed of his whereabouts. that way, if a warrant isnt issued for his shady actions. at least one will be issued for his contempt of court . |

He can still have a warrant issued out for him any where he decides to move to . They can find him easily . Sorry about your Daughter .. |

Depends,If there is evidence enough to convict, the D.A. will put out a warrant or they will call a Grand Jury and decide if there is enough to go to trial with. Now he is just wanted for questioning I think. You have to press charges or the County has to press charges for a warrant to issue I believe. Check with the Court. Good Luck. well..unfortunately laws like these very from state to state. I would suggest asking a lawyer on this matter. Not take advice from someone on here. We don't know where you live. Sorry I couldn't help anymore than that. |

Yes there should be but our law enforcement isn't that great at going after child molesters and rapists who simplyy go against their probation, unfortunately nothing gets done until they've hurt another child, buy a gun. |

Your husband won't be arrested for moving. That's not a crime. It is a civil issue. You are welcome to go back to family court with proof and tell the judge about it though. |
