it stay active for 6 years , and will always be on your record, you cannot erase it

Although your conviction is spent, you'd still have to declare it when applying for a CRB check. Standard criminal record checks show current and spent convictions, cautions, reprimands and warnings held on the Police National Computer. Enhanced CRB's involve an additional level of check on local police records. Where local police records contain additional information that might be relevant to the post the applicant is being considered for, Chief Office of police may release information for inclusion in an Enhanced criminal record check. I have 2 offences on my enhanced CRB dating back nearly 20yrs,so don't worry about it.The offences that employers are looking for are drugs,violence,dishonesty/fraud and crimes against young people/vulnerable adults.

DB is right about the crb check. Even if it is an enhanced check, which will show it up, your employer should give you a fair opportunity to discuss the conviction's relevance to your job. If it has none, then you should be fine, and, even if it has, they should take into account that you have no other record and that it was a long time ago. I can understand your concern, but the fact is that you should not have too much to worry about. A breach of the peace is a comparatively minor offence.

Only the socialist government and its lackey police force considers convictions "spent" every other decent person in the country reserves the right to judge people on their past behavior so in the mind of normal people convictions are never spent. Given all the people without jobs with no convictions I would think you are behind them in the queue.

it would be spent also it depends on whether they do a standard check or an enhanced one it would not show up on a standard check but will on the other however, after 10 years why would your employers be concerned?
