NEVER give permission to allow a search regardless if you have anything to hide or not, it does not implicate any type of guilt regardless of what the cop say. It is your constitutional right to not allow the search and be respectful but unless they have a warrant they cannot conduct a search and a traffic stop is not probable cause according to the US Supreme Court.
