Every officer may be different. It is more respectful to call him officer, or Sir, or Officer (last name), etc... but he might just ignore being called bro, or it could be a pet peeve of his...
Personally when I pull someone over, as long as your not beligerent or have a bad attitude, I don't care very much what you call me (non negative terms of course). |

Cops in my country are a bit "with their heads in the sky", so they would be VERY offended if you call them something else but "officer" or "sir". Because you depend on them, I think you should be more polite, and call them officers. |
