who shot the sheriff and why didn't they shoot the deputy?

God	The deputy was with the sheriff's wife who hatched the plot to dispose of the sheriff, she went on to have 3 children with the deputy and that explains why he wasn't shot.

matty_super_g	ok, ok.......it was me. The sheriff was really getting on my nerves. He was strutting all over town as if he owned the place, and on top of that he had the ordacity to eye up my bird. He had it coming. As for the deputy, he also had it coming, but the wiley little b*****d was out of there like a rat up a drain pipe. To this day i still haven't found him, but not for lack of trying. WHEN i do find him, he is going to have to have a dictionary handy to write down the new definition of pain. His ass is grass!!

amg503	I think someone needs to look into some officer-involved shootings, then look at Bob Marley. It's very possible tha this song was a confession. Obviously, Marley's dead, but there could be a cold case lying around some where. Oh, wait, after Shaq retires from the NBA, he wants to become a Deputy in the south. Maybe Shaq can investigate.

Basically they the sherrif is the police they couldn't say they wnated to shoot the police as the goverment wouldnt be happy so said sherriff instead
