In which countries is rape not a crime?

From Yahoo News story "Rape is a weapon of war", 8 March 2007: " the UN Development Fund for Women (Unifem) and the UN Children's Fund (Unicef) said that while 104 out of 192 countries in the world had made rape a crime...." So rape is legal in 88 countries? Does anyone know where? And why is it not considered a crime?

There are Muslim countries where Women's Rights are inferior, so when they're raped, the cases aren't even investigated. Check out http://www.sciforums.com/Why-is-Rape-Not-A-Crime-In-Islam-t-40979.html

Good reason not to live there, especially for a woman, Don't you think?

Iraq, Iran for starters. If you get raped you could be up for death by stoning by the lovely locals (men obviously).

I think in some Middle Eastern Countries it is regarded as not a crime because the women are second class citizens in some of these countries and they are basically asking for it from men just by being a women. Please don't hate me if you read this and think I'm being racist of any kind becasue I'm not, I'm just stating the facts. Sorry.

In countries where Islam is the prominent religion, rape victims are the ones who are punished. Their reasoning is a woman who gets raped must have done something to "entice" the man (LIKE WHAT? Letting her ankles show under her Burkha?!?!!) so she can be imprisoned or flogged or even killed for dishonoring her family.

From what I've heard is that in Turkey, rape is not considered a crime if your married. It is the wife's duty to pleasure her husband, so the husband can take it whenever he wants too.
