A person was paid on my behalf to collect, collate, write up and submit all relevant evidence to protect my civil rights in a legal case. They failed to do this appropriately and in some cases not at all, but they received financial payment for it. I made a complaint to the third party who paid them, and the result was nothing happened to the person, they just made false allegations in response to the facts. Allegations I was not given natural justice to reply to, but found out through FOI. Is there no-way to hold people accountable for the job they were contracted to do in Australia under our legislation? If there isn't, then why do we have laws?

cyanne2ak	Did you have a written agreement or was is verbal? If it was verbal, good luck proving it! If it was written you might have a case and could sue them. I can't tell you much though because I don't know enough about the situation to properly evaluate it. I suggest you schedule an appointment with a solicitor and bring a copy of the contract with you, as well as any other writings dealing with this agreement.
