What does the law say about drugs?

I'm doing a project and I need to know what to the senteince for; growning and selling marijuana and using and selling heroin. Can anyone help me? The state is Victoria, Australia.

In many states, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana is an infraction (like a speeding ticket). It is a misdemeanor if you have in your possession more than one ounce OR you sell or attempt to sell marijuana OR you are actively cultivating the drug in a grow operation. The use, sale, or distribution of heroin is a felony. Please note, though, that laws and penalties vary from state to state.

It depends. Each state varies about their consequences when it comes to drugs.
