had a guy come to my home to repair my roof .. gave him $500.00 to get started .. he took my money and did no work. won't return my calls. now he contacted the police to say I was hassling him for my money. wondering how to sue him in Barrie Ont to get my money back. thank you Steve

I hope you paid him with a check, because if not... it's going to be hard to get your money back, cash is not traceable. Did he give you a receipt? You have to go to court and file against him for what you think you are owed. When the pleading is filed, a court officer issues the claim by affixing the seal of the court and signing the pleading on behalf of the court.
