how do you fight a false positive drug test?

What's the test for? Employment? If it is then you have to go by the companies policy. Normally most allow you to pre-pay for a retest and if you pass it refund the cost of the test. Either way the second test is considered conclusive.

If it's for a legal purpose (ie probation, etc) then you have to follow what the law in your state says in order to protest the result.

take another drug test, and fight the false positive in court

First, was the test done according to government regulations.
Second, did you use any other medication when you were being tested?

if what you are saying is that you passed under false pretenses and it was actually positive the you should do what is right and pay the consequences MAY GOD BLESS YOU!!!!
