You are not the first person to ask that question, nor will you be the last one. It's a very good question, too. Perhaps her insistence that having been a "first lady" gave her all the experience she needs is what is fuelling her campaign. Of course, as she is a Senator, her experience there may be of some use.
A bigger question I have is whether you Americans need another Clinton in the White House or whether you have had enough of them and want someone new. Sometimes, experience actually counts against you! |

wow, what incredible reasoning!!! i mean, it's factually based, it only references political thought, and has no bias at all. i mean senate experience, pshh. Bill better have told her how to lead the country or we're in big trouble.....ha |

She may operate, but "not" as a surgeon, unless, she too,
is a surgeon.
But with the Clinton's. You have two "operators," since they
are "not" surgeon's. <}:-}) |

Anyone can do anything if they put there minds to it, its just how well you do it that count.
As for being president... cant say.. you get 1 good egg then you get 1 bad egg.
As for Hillary/Bill- if she feels she could run for chief go for it,but the person doesnt make the president. There actions and there behavior does. Its how strong you are menatlly and emotionally ... push all the lies and politics aside. |

not that I voted for her but she is a Senator which makes it appropriate for her to run no matter who she is married too... now if George Bush's wife ran I would laugh. |

actually, i think that she probably told bill how to run the country. it's ok, she won't win. |

No, not at all!!! Experience is a kind of "disease" contracted by means of personal exposure and is not transmittable otherwise |

Give Hilary some credit. She stayed strong in the shadow of her husband's public disgrace. She is a brilliant mind with legal background who actually knows what is going on with the country. Just because her husband is a former president doesn't mean that she never would have ran for office. I think she can do it. |

Good point, Hillary has little valid experience and will lead are country aratight into hell. She wouldn't have a chance in this election if she wasn't Bills husband. |

I don't think she can lead because she is married to Bill I think she can lead because she can. I mean what experience do any of the candidates have to lead the country. |

That is a good comparison. I saw the married to surgeon bit and thought no but then when you went on to the thing about Hilary and the ex-Pres I realised what you meant.
But then surgeons and presidents are very different. I think that she should win out of her and Obama!

To answer your first q... No.
Second one...She is a Senator, that is more experience that Barak.
I'm still voting for Obama! |

At least the SURGEON himself could operate! |

Absolutely not. If anyone votes for Hillary based on the fact that she is married to an ex-President then they are idiots. The candidates need to be evaluated on their own merits (or lack thereof) not on the company that they keep. |

I think the surgeon example is a lot different than the president. Being on the right side of a president can teach you a lot of things. while a surgeon's wife probably isn't allowed in the operating room. |

no, the situations are very different. |
