what are your thoughts on abortion?

april	What are your thoughts? and why you ask??. I think people shoud get educated before they decide to sleep with some one. If the person doesn't want kids, well get protection. or deal with the consequences. Every woman has the right to do what she pleases with her body, but not with someone else's body, a baby its not her body. A baby it totally different human being. It's not the baby's fault the mother doesn't love it. I think its very selfish for people to have abortions because they don't want to ruin their body, career, etc. They should just use protection or get their shit fixed. simple as that. Now, when it comes to a rape or there a health issue, then its a different story. I guess i just hate when people try to get rid of babies like if they were just a disease or something. If they really don't want them, don't kill them, its not their fault they're parents have no love, theres couples out there that can't have kids and might want to adopt one. If you dont want kids, use protection. Simple as that, and avoid having to kill an innocent child.

Orloc	As long as the fetus is attached to the Mother's body, they are one being. That alone makes it her choice and not another place for the government to take over personal lives. Like suicide being illegal, it is never humanitarianism that motivated governments, it is dominance. In some places, the penalty for attempted suicide is death. Any person's thoughts in/re abortion are fine, but they have no right to impose them on their neighbors any more than any other religious concept.

Miss Jinxy	I think you should be able to abort in while in the first trimester. How about, before we get too far into the abortion discussion, we should think about making birth control WAY more accessible and inexpensive.

Chrissy S	I think it is most definitely the choice of the person. I do not think abortion should be used as birth control. There are instances that abortion is the only choice. I do not think that someone should be looked down on, because of what they choose. Adoption is the better option, but I do understand that adoption isn't always an option, because it is a very emotional strain on the mother. If abortion is the prime choice, I think that there should be a limit on how far along the mother is that this can take place. I do believe that a fetus is a "living" thing, but on the same note, I do not believe that an abortion should take place after the fetus is a "baby". I hope this makes sense.

grandmadarcy	It is a very personal choice. That person must answer for their actions. I chose not to when others said they would have and I have an awesome daughter who starts high school next year. I couldn't but I see cases where the children are treated so poorly even by parents that chose to adopt them that abortion might have been less suffering for the child.

justwondering	I think that the only way that it should be performed is that is it was a rape case or would cause the mother harm (death). It is not the babies fault that YOU made a mistake, give it up for adoption - not kill it.

bullymommy25	I think that before the baby is classified as a fetus (eight weeks), while it is just an embryo, a woman should have the right to choose. I was faced with an unplanned pregnancy in a bad time for my family, and I considered abortion, but I COULDN'T do it. Still, I don't think it's my business to tell someone else what to do. For the record, it's twisted that republicans are against abortion but also think that the child of a gas station attendant (not my quote) is worth less than their children, and they are unwilling to provide health insurance for the uninsured children in america.

elizabeth l	I do not think it's correct, I feel if you are wise enough to spread them then you are wise enough to take responsibility. There are so many birth control out there and information to avoid becoming pregnant, so there is no excuses However, not to contradict myself, If you are raped then it is OK if that is what you choose to do.

xxsugar_sweet01xx	i think That if it is your fault because you couldn't be bothererd with the conseqences.. then it is your fault, and you should go through the complications and times of abortion. If it were caused by an accident, i.e not your fault - ape. It is up to the victims personal preference. I would personally probably have an abortion. If you don't think you can cope with having a baby financially or physically, then you should have an abortion as.this wouldn't be fair on the child. Genrally-i don't really agree with abortion. If it was desparatly needed, only in the early stages,as PERSONALLY i would feel it is a crime. PERSONAL PREFERENCE ONLY. Hope my feelings help. =]

I am not for it, but I do know that every has their own choice and it should not effect any one else life but their own. Please just don't understand that and will fight about anything now a days kinda sad!
