Okay, I'm wanting to become and F.B.I Agent (duh, by the name!). And at first I had no idea what murder in the first degree meant. I looked it up, and it made sense. I looked up manslaughter (which appeared) and understood that to. But the one I don't get, is murder in the second degree? Please help me to better understand it. Thanks!
I haven't become one yet. I'm only 12. But I'm certain I want to be an F.B.I agent and I want to learn some things before I go to college

Let's do a simple comparison.
1st degree murder: The only intent of the crime is to kill someone. It was planned.
2nd degree murder: The only intent was to commit another crime, but you kill them in the process. Unplanned.
3rd degree (manslaughter): Your negligent action caused the death of a person. Unplanned. Could be a "heat of the moment" reaction to an event that really pisses you off.
In #2 above, depending upon the crime, it can be escalated to 1st deg murder. Example, you rob a bank and have every intention of killing anyone who prevents your escape. |

If you posess a degree - or any other qualification - then you'll already be in front of of the crowd when it comes to searching for careers. My mate has a degree and he wasn't certain what direction to go with it, but he uncovered some great instruction on the site in the resource box below which aided him to decide that he wanted to be a lab assistant. There is plenty of help on the site regarding other careers. |
