Tescos flexi contract.?

Hi im 17 and currently work at a local tescos full time but only on a flexi contract. Since being on this contract I havent been told any sort of agreements. I work on dotcom and we are always working on our own trying to get the vans out which can lead us to starting work at 6am and finishing at 5pm. Isnt there some sort of time limit we are allowed to do?

Charlotte, the limit as an employee in the UK is defined in the Working Time Regulations. Averaged over 17 weeks (which allows for peaks and troughs in demand) you may not work more than 48 hours a week. Doing the hours that you are, you must also get a break after 6 hours. So, if you are getting a 30 minute break, you couldn't be required to work 5 days a week on those hours. But if, say, on Tuesday, you leave at 2pm, or start at 9am, then that would look better. More details at the link below.
