You're only 16. Going through college and the next few years you definitely won't feel the same and you'll regret it. You'll know whose right later on. Just have fun, theres no need for commitment and guaranteed if you get married that young and already decided you will at 16, you're probably gonna get divorced since relationships at that age just aren't meant to last. Hope you make the right choice |

You are the ideal age to get married. You are both very adaptable and, if you get pregnant, you are very flexible so the baby pops out much easier. You also are young enough to have the strength and energy to take care of babies. For most of human history girls have married at age 16 or younger and did fine.
It is only stupid old people think you are not old enough. However, look at their divorce rate. How dare those hypocrites try and tell you how to live your life. Nevertheless, if you think you are dumb and can't think for yourself, then you are too young. |

if you found love so young that is great, but there is no need to rush and get married. keep on dating and see where life takes you. it's also important to know that many people change after high school and in college. the people you change into may not love the person you met at 16. life goes by fast, there is no need to make it speed by faster. |

Getting married to your love in collage~ OK
Getting married to your love in high school ~ NOT OK
Having kids before finishing collage~ NOT OK
I hope that you consider this as one of your best because seirosly, how will you finish collage if you have a kid to take care of? Think about it. |

Yes, you're getting married too young. My $0.02.
I'd recommend getting engaged and waiting to actually get married until you're out of college. If the relationship is meant to be, then it'll wait.
But if you end up growing up into different people (as happens far too often) during that time, then you don't have to deal with a divorce.
If it's meant to be, it'll happen. |

How long have you been with him? What are his negative traits? Think really hard cuz its said that if you can deal with the most negative things about your significant other, then you can get married, lol.
I hope he isn't possessive, controlling or violent. He has to have serious goals for himself, and has to get along with your friends and family. |

Hell Yes! Trust me! Nobody falls for their highschool sweetheart. I was in love in high school and now I read the love letters and I cringe. Plus he can't afford you, did he propose with a big diamond or did he propose when he was trying to get you to take off your clothes. Take it slow. College is much more fun if you date around. I would take a break, if you love eachother THAT much then you'll get back together later in life.
Either way, your probably dissatisfied with my answer, however, I will bet you there is a 99% chance you will not stay together through college and I hope you remember my predicition when you break up.
Youre too young. Go out and live a little bit. Get and education. Get a job. Be crazy. Date around. Go to parties. Enjoy your friends. The longest and most enduring relationships are always friendships. Men come and go until you find that right one. |

I can't speak for your, but you might want to slow down and reassess, especially if you're having second thoughts. You can always get "engaged" (like you are), wait the few years and see.
Your relationship lasting doesn't necessarily have to do with when you get married, but when you're this young, you might rush into something.
The part of your brain about making good decisions isn't fully formed yet, so just be mindful of that.
It's your decision, and I think you can make a good one, but I think it's important you slow yourself down so that you can reassess.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: You don't have to get married soon in order for you to spend the rest of your lives together. |

love knows no age, but its good that you are waiting till you are 20 that way you will have a better outlook on what you want for your life. if you love him then go for it but remember you don't need to rush. :) |

Yes you are way way way way too young. Being tied to one person at your age is really a very bad move. But that said, it is highly unlikely that you will actually get married, and that is okay. Probably half of all teenagers who are allowed to 'go steady' at your age say they are getting married, but thankfully it doesn't happen. College will change things. And that is okay too. It is part of becoming the person who you were meant to be. People married very young these days almost never stay together. |

its WAYY too young to get married. it doesnt matter how old you are when you fall in love but at the age of 16 you really have no idea of what commitment and freedom is. its still bad to be ingaged at this age but make it a reallyy long engagement, and it may end so be prepared. |

to find the perfect mate at an early age is a true blessing and yes it is possible... I've known very old couples that did at younger ages than yours' |

If you are asking us than yes you are too young. If it is a good relationship it will last past collage. Many people experience changes from 16 to 20.
Wait.
Yes, how old you are does matter, in fact your level of maturation changes quickly between starting collage and going to work. |

Yes, you are still 4 years away. Don't go planning a marriage with someone this young and in 4 years.
I think 20 is way too young. Honestly, ideally I think a good age to marry is 25+
A lot will change between now and when you turn 20.
Start worrying about your homework, what college you want to go to or even what dress you'll wear to prom this year...............don't worry about a marriage. With a marriage comes bills, a house and mortgage, a full-time job.........you're honestly too young to even understand or what those things. |

You should wait. You are very young and people change. If you still want to get married when you start college, go ahead. |
