thunor	Marriage is a union between two people. It doesn't matter whether those two people are man and man, man and woman, or woman and woman.... Marriage is based on love and happiness, not what some bigotted, narrow minded, or religious person states.

I mean imagine being in love with someone and ready to marry them but not being able to because of the law..... hmm..... I mean I am not saying that its right or wrong.....

triviatm	Nope. For all the screaming that the fundamentalists do about the "sacred covenant" of marriage, as far as the law is concerned marriage is a LEGAL contract. I see no reason to forbid two people who want to share their lives together to sign that contract, regardless of the genders of the people concerned.

mrslititia	I think people in love should be able to get married, no matter what gender they are. I am straight and have had the privilege of being married to the man I love for 20 years now. Why shouldn't everyone have that privilege. If it offends someone to think about two guys, or two girls, then don't think about it. I have a neighbor with a HUGE butt and I certainly don't want to think about her and her hubby...so I don't. (Except I just did to make this point...yuck!) (FYI this is not an anti-fat remark...I am overweight...she is just a witch and has a big butt.)
