I was married sixteen years to a cheater, I never cheated on her or our marriage, did our marriage survive, no. I was able to hold my head proud and felt good that I never lowered myself to her standards. Good luck with whatever choice you make.

J_Jammer	Normally two wrongs don't make a right and this is not one of those times where that would be any different. You cannot get mad at them for cheating on you and then go and cheat on them...it makes no sense. It means that the relationship is just as much trash to you as it was for them when they decided to cheat. You don't justify anything when you cheat on a cheater. You just turned into them---apparently someone who did something you don't agree with. It's like saying if a man murdered your mother that if you murdered his mother that your murdering would be justifiable. It wouldn't be. Best way to handle a cheater is to guilt them for doing their wrong by being the best person you can be who does not stoop to their level. Hope that helped.
