I have been with this guy for like 2 years and we have a child together. We have been friends for like ten years so far.
Sometimes he will playingly say "I'm going to marry you", and sometimes he will plain out say will you marry me and I just give a serious look with no response because I dont want to play into his game if he is playing.
Help?

when what you are doing right know doesn't work do the opposite.
I am going to give you an advice that you can do because it would just be to hard for you to change him. I you really like him show him that you have the skills necessary to be a wife. Be a nurturing and catering wife. Even better, imitate your soon to be mother-in-law. This will work because we guys secretly desire to be taken care of like our mothers did. Show him that you are interested in a compromise to change, to suit your family needs and make your family grow, if he is willing to change too. Once you are the dream girlfriend and potential wife he will find you very intriguing as a potential wife. If he starts telling you that he doesn’t want to leave you start telling him that you don’t want to lose him that you want to be a part of him live. This will work because he will not want to loose you. Usually people act exactly the opposite way like by being absolutely unbearable and nagging wives. I believe he is testing you to be sure that when he asks you for real you won't say no. The problem when you don't answer and give him a serious look, it sends a message that you might not be ready to marry. I would suggest, not to play his "games", but to make him understand that you would say yes if he asked. You can either do that by having a light conversation about it, or mentionning to friends, etc... |

Be straight forward with him. If you suspect that he is just messing around, and is just interested in playing some game, then he's not worth your time. Just ask him "are you serious or not" my thing is that 2 can play the love game. Good luck. |
