I've told my husband I don't love him but he won't leave

Over the last couple of years my husband and I have grown apart and I started seeing someone behind his back. Now I've told him that I don't love him and that I've had an affair, but he doesn't listen and insists it will be alright. We've been married for over 5yrs and have 2 children under the age of 10. He says that he will never leave the house or the children and that I will have to go. I want to leave him, but I don't want to leave my children. What can I do?

YOU cheated YOU should be the one getting kicked to the curve!! You should have ended the marriage first before becoming a wh*re! Why don't you pack your sh*t and move in with your boyfriend!? Obviously you weren't thinking about your children when you were screwing the other guy, so don't try and act like you care now.

Take it to court and pack your bags!

Sounds like you already made up your mind about divorcing so go for it,, If you win custody,, will your new BOY freind accept you and Them into his home??? Does he even know that you have kids??? I almost bet that if you tell him you are moving in with your kids,, You will get dumped,, maybe not right away but you will get dumped,,,

Its not his decision who gets the kids. It will be up to a judge. You have been honest with him and told him what you want, he just doesn't want to face reality.

Despite your affair, I am sure you are a good mom and the judge will award you shared custody most likely.

Get a lawyer and let him handle it all.

Good luck!

I think you where the one who cheated. You where the one who broke the vows. You are the one who wants to leave. I think you should be the one who leaves. You messed up this time girly. If you would have thought about all the consequences before you had your affair, then maybe you would have gotten a divorce the way you where supposed to and then had what you wanted.

sizzouz
agreed, you should be the one to leave. see a lawyer to set up the divorce and visiting rights.

You should go to court get a lawyer, but try not to make it a messy divorce because you have young children. You will have to work out an agreement for your children and visitation rights.

lil miss badass
you should of thought about your children when u where running off with your fancy man and splitting up ur family. ur husband and ur children are the victims here and you should be the 1 to leave the family home since you where the 1 who tore the family apart and i hope he gets custody of your children after all y should you be rewarded for breakin your kids hearts

chickie
He is in denial and you will have to leave, or stay which is not fair to him. I hope you move out, get an apartment, and have your children. Why would you have to leave the children, if you get a place they could be with you. What do you not love about him anymore, are you just bored with the routine and want to feel alive again? All relationships get routine and boring at times, some more than others. If you meet someone else, once you are with them a couple of years, the same thing will happen all over again.

File for divorce. You shouldn't stay unhappy with him. The judge will decide where the kids go, etc.

You should leave. You are the one who commited adultery. You want out, so get out. Visit your kids on the weekends. Why interrupt their lives because you are a such a selfish person?

Tara L
You are the one who threw everything away, why should you get off easily and get to take everything from him. You want his home, his children, you already took away his marriage. You need to leave, i agree with him.

tearbaby88
i think u should leave but vist your kids every weekend

Leave him with the house and kids and move in with your new lover or would his wife resent it?

you have broken every vow and promise you made to your husband your the one who needs to leave

NONAME
You should leave as you're the one who's done all the problems in your relationship. Cheating, don't love him, and wanting him to leave. Id don't know what you'll do with the children but you should leave.

Reverend Black Grape
You're the one who cheated, why should he be the one who loses his home and children? I applaud your husband's sense of commitment and responsibility to his family. He deserves better.

...
yea u shud stay for ur children man parents these days dont care about there children those kids need love from both of there parents so stay

You started the ball rolling... You cheated and you've told him you don't love him. Get out... You can't have your cake and eat it too... You want the house AND your kids as a reward?! Sad, sad, sad!! Gives all women a bad name, IMO

The Original Magic 8 Ball BILF
If you cheated on him, you should be the one leaving--with your tail between your legs.
