Call the school and call the cops.
Teens are very impressionable and this may lead to a skewed sense of what is right.
In the old days it may have been cool to bag the teacher, my friend Albert actually married one of our junior high teachers...and their marriage turned out horribly when she left him for a way younger guy years later. |

I would think both. I am assuming that where you are, 17 is under the age of consent. It is also a matter for the school because I am sure that wherever you are teachers are not permitted to abuse their fiduciary relationship with their students in this manner. Is there a board or committee or association responsible for the conduct of teachers? If so, it is worth reporting here as well. |

seen it, heard it been there.

Both and I hope u said somethimg to her and then threw her out. |

I think you should report it to the school. Your son's teacher should know better than to behave like that, she has no business seducing her pupils. |

I say report it to the police, press charges, and then inform the school that the teacher raped him and that you filed charges. Get him some counseling too. Im sure at 17, he doesnt realize that a 30 year old teacher was violating his body. Its sick, it makes me scared to send both of my boys to school, who would have ever thought that teachers, who are supposed to be role models for children, could end up molesting them? It just goes to show that even the educated have severe mental problems. Best of luck to you and your son! |

report it to the police first if you want to keep it confidential. the only one that can be prosecuted is the teacher because your son is a minor... so you have nothing to worry about if you're worried about him getting in trouble with the law. the teacher is the one to blame, and she will be the one to be indicted with a crime.
oh! and get him checked for stds. |

This woman must have been married because what woman would be in a 17yr old's bed in his mother's house? I'd get her husband on the phone, call the cops and the school. Unfortunately, your son will probably be upset with you, or maybe not. Either way, he'll later understand that you love him and you're just looking out for him. And when he leaves the house and has his own place, you wouldnt be concerned about what happens in his bedroom. |

Both! That is unethical. Call the police, tell them what happened as well as the school, the teacher will be fired. It depends on the state though for the age of consent. If he's underage of consent then you can press charges. If he's at the age of consent he has to press charges. |

Call the police and checkout the school. He shouldn't be in bed with his teacher. |

Depending on the state that you are in, is your son still considered a minor? Either way as a mom, i would call the cops they will do the rest. |

Nice try. The thing that makes this completely unbelievable is the fact that you couldn't possibly be a parent...NO parent on earth having discovered such a thing would be online soliciting advice from strangers on what to do...they'd not only already KNOW what to do, they'd had already done it. |

AnnaSophia thinks that is not real.

Report it to both. Then have your son tested for STDs. Don't be gender-biased. How would you react if it were your 17 year old daughter and her 30 year old teacher instead? |
